TESIAC
Challenge Overview
TESIAC worked to enhance transportation in the La Jolla region by addressing critical first/last-mile gaps for residents, employees, and visitors. The project explored how emerging mobility technologies—such as autonomous shuttles, cycling, walking, and micro-mobility—could be integrated into a seamless transportation system. Students analyzed transportation needs, conducted surveys, and gathered field data to identify potential service areas, technology solutions, and key destinations for on-demand services. The final deliverables include a mobility planning document that recommends routes, service types, and local partnerships to improve connectivity in the region.
