Future Innovators Virtual Academy is a self-paced online program that introduces UC San Diego students to the fundamentals of innovation, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. Through interactive modules, students learn how to develop ideas, validate solutions, and build the skills needed to create real-world impact.

The program is available through Canvas and can be completed at your own pace. This is not a credit-bearing course. A UC San Diego SSO login is required to access the program.

Future Innovators Virtual Academy does not follow a traditional course schedule. Students can access the program through Canvas and complete the modules at their own pace.

Must be a current UC San Diego student
UC San Diego SSO login required

Eligibility

Open to all current UC San Diego undergraduate and graduate students in good academic standing.

Alternative Coursework Credit

UC San Diego has an official record called the Co-Curricular Record (CCR) which highlights student involvement and achievements in opportunities beyond the classroom. The Future Innovators Virtual Academy program is CCR approved.

How to apply: Students can request the Co-Curricular Record (CCR) along with their academic transcript through the Registrar or print an unofficial PDF copy through the CCR Portal.
